Global Research, Innovation, and Partnerships

GRIP

GRIP serves as a strategic partner for colleges and departments, helping to identify, establish, and strengthen connections with international partners across higher education, industry, and government.

Global Partnerships

We assist faculty and campus units in developing global engagement strategies, cultivating international partnerships, and facilitating agreements that advance UT’s mission. Through stewardship of the university’s global activity database, we track international engagement and connect UT with partners around the world.

Innovative Program Development

We provide strategic consulting and support to academic units in developing and executing innovative programs that enhance global learning, promote research excellence, and expand service opportunities on a global scale.

Global Research

We empower faculty to pursue global research opportunities by providing pre- and post-award support, monitoring international funding opportunities, and facilitating strategic matchmaking with collaborators around the world. Through comprehensive due diligence and research security processes, we help ensure the integrity, sustainability, and success of international research partnerships.

Faculty Resources

Through the Academy for Global Engagement (AGE) Fellowship Program, we cultivate a growing community of globally engaged faculty by providing professional development, strategic connections, and access to campus resources and UT’s international network. The program equips faculty to pursue global research grants and collaborations, fosters a culture of global engagement across campus, and advances UT’s reputation as a leading global research university.
